Afterschool Program - CLOSED due to CORONAVIRUS
At no better time is the greeting, “Welcome! Welcome!” more appropriate than now. For the Crudup-Ward Family is in the heart of enhanced after school services. A long time vision of the Crudup-Ward Family is to help provide quality community service to our youth. I cordially invite you to join me as we set priorities and mold the future. It is important that our dreams and hopes are part of the plans, which evolve.
It is my hope that each teacher and parent will continue to support our policies and procedures, so that we will create a safe environment where all children and adults are empowered to become life- long learners and survivors in a fun environment. 
Our afterschool program is a program where the students are able to have fun with friends and also learn with fun. Students get off the school bus and go to their classrooms to complete the assignments from school. Teachers are in the afterschool program to assist the students as they complete the assignments that their teacher has assigned.
Our afterschool teachers strive to make sure that the child is doing something instead of sitting their doing nothing. With certified teachers in the classroom, teachers are equipped with the knowledge regarding classroom management and providing students with other resources for their grade level. Our teachers will set up problems to test them on whatever they did in class. If the student masters the assignment he/ she may read a book, get on the computer, or be given extra practice worksheets on their grade level. However, if they don't one-on-one tutoring takes place with one of the tutors or teachers. We ask that all parents be involve with your child. Make sure that you go to the school(s) and check up on your child(ren) to let teachers and other staff know that you are very concerned about your child and his/ her education.
